Get in touch

1. Register With My Aged Care

Give My Aged Care a call on 1800 200 422 or visit myagedcare.gov.au to get started. They’ll ask you a few questions to understand your current situation.

2. Share Some Basic Information

You’ll be asked about your daily routines, health conditions, and any support you’re already receiving. This helps decide whether you need a more in depth home visit.

3. Book A Home Assessment

If you’re eligible, a trained assessor will come to your home. They’ll chat with you about your needs, safety at home, and what support could help you stay independent.

4. Wait For The Outcome

After the visit, you’ll receive a letter outlining whether you’ve been approved for a Home Care Package and what level of care you’re eligible for.
